Downtown street in Santiago. It is not very busy now but in about an hour there are so many people you cannot get around. Even with all the people, they keep their city clean and their metro is also very clean. I am holding my name tag because the magnet fell off the back. Not strong enough on a coat.

I am loosing my touch. It took me 3 days to find McDonalds and it was just beyond the corner we always get off the bus to take the metro. Oh well I probably wont find one in Lampa! Best I don't get use to it.

This is just a little traffic in downtown Santiago.

This is one of the parks in the neighborhood. They have lots of little parks and little plazas all around.

Just a few pictures of the area we have been working in with Elder and Hermana Brumbles who have been training us. If you notice the road, that is how all the sidewalks are so you have to always be looking down so you don't trip or fall in a hole. Of course with all the dogs you have to look for more than holes!!!!!! Along the street where I am standing are the houses. They all have gates and they are probably 15 to 18 feet wide. But every house has a flat screen TV and internet. The wires just run all of the walls from house to house. And most people have cell phones. Addresses are not easy to find but everyone will help you. They are so friendly and will take you to the place you want to go. It makes it easier to tract in this area because you know how friendly people are.

My blog is going to be a little out of order so hopefully you can all follow it.

There are dogs, dogs, dogs, everywhere. They are on every street, in every house, everywhere you look there is a dog. They never bother you or follow you but they are just loose all over. The mean dogs are the ones the people own that are behind their gates so you never want to go through a persons gate without them letting you in.
